In Level 1, you will begin to build the foundation necessary to launch your aesthetic medicine career. This comprehensive, full-day course covers both neurotoxins and dermal fillers. We start with the history and the basics of both toxins and dermal fillers. We then expand to the strategy and necessary techniques. We also cover how to talk to your patient, evaluate your patient, and what to do if a complication arises. This course aims to lay as much of the necessary groundwork as possible. After a morning of the didactic curriculum, we jump into the hands-on portion of the course. The first several models will be evaluated and treated by our trainers, so you have a better understanding of how it works, what it looks like, and what is expected during a treatment. Then, our students each have the opportunity to evaluate and treat their own patients from start to finish under the guidance of one of our expert trainers.
